This Privacy Policy explains how Kunjey ("Kunjey", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you use our property management platform, websites, and related applications (collectively, the "Service"). It applies to property managers and owners who register for the Service ("Customers"), their staff, and the guests of Customers whose data is processed through the Service.

1. Who We Are

Kunjey acts as the data controller for account and platform-usage data of Customers, and generally acts as a data processor on behalf of Customers for guest and booking data that Customers manage through the Service. Where Kunjey acts as a processor, our processing is governed by the applicable data processing terms agreed with the Customer, and Customers remain responsible for their own compliance with data protection law toward their guests.

2. Information We Collect

Account and Customer Data

• Registration details: name, email address, phone number, company name, and password.
• Billing information, such as billing address and payment method details processed via our payment providers.
• Property information: listings, room types, rates, availability, and photos you add to the Service.

Guest and Booking Data

• Reservation details synchronized from connected booking channels (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and Expedia), including guest name, contact details, stay dates, and booking amounts.
• Guest messages exchanged through our unified inbox, and pre-check-in or verification information guests submit directly.
• Payment or payout information related to bookings, processed by third-party payment processors.

Usage and Device Data

• Log data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies, as described in Section 7 below.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including calendar, channel manager, and messaging features;
• Synchronize availability, rates, and reservations with the third-party channels you connect;
• Process payments, subscriptions, invoices, and payouts;
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests;
• Monitor, secure, and improve the performance and reliability of the Service;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service;
• Comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only as follows:

• Booking channels: to synchronize availability, rates, reservations, and guest messages you choose to connect through the Service.
• Service providers: cloud hosting, payment processing, communication (SMS/email), and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
• Legal and safety: where required to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Kunjey, our Customers, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the confidentiality of the personal data involved.

5. International Data Transfers

Kunjey and its service providers may process and store data in countries other than where you or your guests are located, including the United Arab Emirates and other jurisdictions where our infrastructure providers operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as contractual data protection commitments, for such transfers.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or anonymize it, except where a longer retention period is required by law.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how the Service is used, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit some functionality of the Service.

• Request a portable copy of your data;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@kunjey.com. If your data was provided to us by a Customer (for example, as a guest of a property managed on Kunjey), we may direct your request to that Customer, who controls the underlying booking relationship.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites and services (such as booking channels and payment processors) that have their own privacy practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date and, where changes are material, provide additional notice as appropriate.
